I checked on the trash in front of the house. Most of the bags are not very heavy, there are two that may be "over the limit" but I didn't repack them for now. I did pull them a bit apart (they were in one big pile), so lets see if they get picked up this week. Also pieced up one back with bottles and other new trash.

If they are not taken, I can ask William down the street if the day before trash day they can be placed in front of his house for pick-up.

Freakin' garbage men.

That is from the cleanup that Jackie and Sam did inside the house.

Can we request city trash cans for these two properties? With the new service, everyone was supposed to get new trash cans anyway, and even though this is vacant, still entitled to a trash can. If the trash is in a can, the garbage men are more likely to pick it up. Now I know not all can go in the can, but maybe the heavier stuff can and it will make it easier. Thing is someone would need to take the can back in after pickup.

Those new trash cans are only for customers of a particular garbage service, whose name I don't remember. :-) Judy got new cans over near 45th and Moncrief. Our trash is picked up by COJ, isn't it, not a subcontractor?

That's my understanding and the City doesn't even supply the garbage cans anymore. You have to buy them yourself and they're right at $100 each at Lowes.

There is a can in the garage.
Old school with the flip lid like most in Springfield have.

I wouldn't put that can out, it'll be gone.

Joe met Bob Porter at the house today and the drawings are being worked on.

We need major 2nd floor cleanup. Shall we do this with volunteers? Or do we do this with Glory Homes so the workers have worker's comp?
