let's MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Post by iloveionia » Wed Nov 03, 2010 7:26 pm

It's that time again!
Preservation SOS. Save Our Springfield.
A project to support our mission of preservation.

Join us at 8 a.m. on November 20, 2010 at 343 E. 9th Street to add trim paint and exterior landscaping to our neighbor Kenneth's home.
Kenneth has lived here for more than 31 years. Another true Springfield trooper and friend in need.

A specific list of needs will be posted in the upcoming days. But you can count on ladders, paint supplies, and landscape materials.

343 E. 9th...wouldn't want folks showing up at the wrong house...although that would be REALLY interesting.

Go here for more details about this project:

If you are a carpenter and plan on helping, bring your tools! Adequately marked, of course. This job has a lot of porch work to be done.

If you would like to help and want your own little project, you could build the dog a warm dog house for this winter.

Team Recovery Thrift Store is donating a $20.00 gift certificate to Kenneth's MAKE IT HAPPEN! event to be presented at the end of the day. Kenneth can either purchase items for himself or for his home.

We'd like to challenge other businesses in Springfield to do the same.

Let's show this family some L O V E !!

Post it if you'll do it.

<gloria>

I have filled out a COA app for Kenneth and will get his signature on it. I did put "preservation sos" as his agent, but that just means we can talk about it to HPC (if needed) or to Joel and LIsa about it. I don't think it puts any responsibility on us.

Good for us to be part of "guidance into compliance"

Does it specify anywhere what the agents responsibility (or liability) is ?
