JHPC

Post by Gloria » Fri Nov 01, 2013 5:53 pm

sent this today:
Joel,
As you are well aware, Preservation SOS is very concerned about the commission's adoption of the new public comments law. There have been several times when a topic has been important to us and we were unable to comment on it. Additionally, there may be issues that need to go before the commission which don't fit into the agenda.
Please make time available for public comment (preferably in the middle of the meeting and not at the end). Urban core CPAC limits the time to 3 minutes, HPC could do the same.
Thank you for your consideration in this. I look forward to hearing back from you.

I guess I didn't realize that they had adopted this. When did it happen?

What is the new law? Does it eliminate public comments?
