1430 N Liberty

Post by movedsouth » Sun May 08, 2011 7:04 am

This is a small house all overgrown and sadly owned by "kiss of death" Tarpon IV. Vagrants have left a lot of trash in the back. If anybody can spare 30 minutes today to help me clean it up a bit, please be there 3pm. Your mom will be proud of you! Bring whatever tools / bags you have. A gas powered mower or such would be good to have. We will meet in the alley behind the house where most of the trash is.

Someone got there before we did and clean it all up. Only problem is that the loose piled up leaves will probably not get picked up

Joe and I just got back from looking at the house. It is fully boarded (city done). One window did not get boarded, but it is intact with the glass. It needs clean up and I will take three guys from Home Away From Home over there tomorrow morning to do a clean up. It may need some brush cut back and etc. We'll see after the trash is gone.

Sorry for the mix up.

While they were working, the neighbor who complained came over and spoke with them and thanked them for doing this.

Amazing.
Tarpon can't still own it.

What's the plan for this property? Yesterday the city trees in the weedy median were all loped off at their bases. Chipping is in progress today.

Other neighbors reported on Facebook that the property was purchased by a couple recently, and they are now starting to restore it. Cutting down the trees was a first step. I think it already looks a lot better actually. The house was hardly visible. (and you can tell now some of the damage the trees did to the house).
