Who was the demolition contractor?
I did see a burkhalter bulldozer there.
SPAR doesn't understand how contracts work.
But, who cares, all I wanted was for something to be saved.
I doubt very much anything was.

Burkhalter. They have an incentive to save stuff because they can sell it. I think they are trying, but it's going to be hard to separate out those emblems from the rest of the building. Those granite blocks are huge and heavy.

There is a dumpster there now in the empty lot and also what appears to be a brand new condemned sign on the brick buildings where the a/c ductwork is being removed. That entire complex has one address but it is hard to tell if it is 1341 Silver or 205 W 3rd.

They have been working on this for maybe a month. I think they are "cleaning up" by removing some of the loose metal and improving on the boarding. At least I think it is authorized by the owner and not metal thieves.

Yes, but apparently without permit so work has stopped and they've been cited...hence the new signage.

This part still stands. It was the other side, the east side building that was dozed.

some one please double check me to make sure that the address 1341 Pearl Street is one and the same as this one...if so, they NSP1 funding was used to demo this structure.

This building's roof caved in due to fire and the side facing Pearl street was bowed out, so emergency demo. Would NSP1 funds be used in that instance?

But 1341 would tend to be closer to 4th than 3rd where this building stood, so I don't think it is the same.
