Thank you Gloria for grueling out the near 5 hour meeting.
Ron, I will email you with specifics and next steps.
The good thing is the approved mothball COA is protecting the home!
Congratulations!

I didn't get to hang the light yesterday. Work and the weather got in the way. I hope to at least get the first one up after I return from this trip.

Wow. What have we become? Hanging pigs at Dancy? That's sure to cause a stir. Lmao.

The solar lights are finally up. We put up a total of 4. I will post some pictures later. I didn't get them as high as I hoped to. Lets see how they will do.

We mounted the light on the facia boards above the porch. At first, I wanted to mount them higher up, but then they would be less effective. Lets see how this works out. There are now a total of four lights. We mounted them alternating, and one at the house without porch as it was easier to mount it "out of reach".

FWIW: There are again homeless living on the porches of the first two houses.

If one of them is a skinny white guy with a ballcap who shuffles when he walks, that may be Jeff. Jeff won't hurt anything or anyone. He's a kind man with a demon (alcohol.)

There are two occupied porches. One (second one in to the right from 9th Street) is an older black guy who sleeps on it. I think if he is not on that porch, he sits at KFC parking lot.

The second one is the first porch on the left. That is more "active". The only person I recognized was the woman in a wheel chair. She came to investigate to see what we were doing.

I noticed some hand written signs asking people to use the garbage cans and to stay off the property (using rather colorful language). There is a totally overflowing garbage can in the alley behind KFC.

As of last night, all lights were working. I may need to adjust some of the sensors a bit to point more towards the walk way in the center.
