LOL. I am now behind in my promises of posting!!!

Okay. I have spoken numerous times to the owner. I apologize for not posting. The end of the school year is VERY busy and that's when we talked several times and even in this last week.

What needs to happen is he needs to donate the property. I know of someone who will take it but it has to be a give away. The last I called his message box was full and wouldn't take messages.

The bulldozer is not around the corner. Close, but not yet.

I have the players involved with the house in my communication. The only thing that will save the house is 1. The owners "sells" it (deed in someone else's name) 2. States to Jason Teal's office he wasn't properly notified (that' won't happen) So I am back to #1. I'll try calling again tomorrow.

Like most owners with homes in need of love, he doesn't have a clue. He thinks he does, but he doesn't. The demo lien will be $12-$17k. The city fines, the back taxes. He thinks the lot can sell for $30k. And he thinks he can sell it.

Mack Bissette is selling all of his lots and they are going for as low as 5-8k so he shouldn't get his hopes up of making 30k on that lot. There are too many available at a much lower price. I consulted with a local real estate mogul ;) on their opinion of taking on this project. The answer was only if it is turned over to you for back taxes. I'd take it on under those provisions. :)
